Who is this Qualification for?

The Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice qualification is aimed at candidates who are responsible for developing and applying health and safety procedures day-to-day in their organisation. They may be a staff member, supervisor or manager looking to improve their knowledge and skills. However, competence-based qualifications are not training courses, in contrast they provide recognition of skills and experience that have been developed within industry.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Each candidate is required to produce an online portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each of the ten
mandatory units.

How long does it take to achieve the qualification?

The NVQ takes approximately 6 months to 18 months to complete, however, this is a completely learner driven course. This means that it is completely down to the learner and depends how much work they submit as to when they will complete the qualification.
